An incompetent attorney can delay a trial for months or years. A competent attorney can delay one even longer. Anyone nit-picking enough to write a letter of correction to an editor doubtless deserves the error that provoked it. Liberals are very broadminded: they are always willing to give careful consideration to both sides of the same side. For most men life is a search for the proper manila envelope in which to get themselves filed.
